Happy Halloween—a review

Here are the pictures from the last 3 years of our Halloween costumes. It has been pretty fun doing coordinating costumes. I'm glad we have been able to persuade them to be what we want them to be for Halloween. I will post this years costumes tomorrow, hopefully we will get some cute pictures.

Jake has been trying to find a good picture with all three kids in it for our desktop for a while now. He had this one from the hospital that I took from bed for a while. A few days ago he took this one with all three kids.

The second picture happened while I was headed to work. Jake was finishing up his shower and P was waiting in the bouncer in the hallway. When Jake came out he found Thing 1 reading “Perfect Piggies” to P.

Pumpkins

A few weeks ago we went to visit Jake’s parents. Grandma Whipple helped the kids pick some pumpkins from her patch. I told Jake there was a perfect pumpkin and it was big. His mom said it was the biggest one so Jake went out to pick it. He picked the wrong one, but it made a fun jack-o-lantern anyway.

Last Saturday we let the kids paint them with our paint markers and they had a lot of fun. Then Jake set to work carving the huge pumpkin. I cut out a face with my silhouette and he used his sawzall and a rotor tool.

I got these the same day I got the disk for the family pictures. These are from when P was just over a week old. It’s amazing how fast he is growing.
