December Fun

We have had more and more talking at our house. We are enjoying cute baby sounds.

We also tried to take some pictures for our Christmas card, but we will have to try again. There are also some more fun photos we have taken in the past few days.

Church adventures

So we just started taking both babies to church last week, they are now 3 months old and hopefully won't get sick from being around people. As a side note, I can't believe how many people come to church with coughing, runny noses, and kids that don't cover up the coughing and sneezing, seriously it is hard to take a little baby to church. Back to the story, last week Jake took thing 2 to priesthood and changed his diaper and he peed all over himself and Jake. Today I took thing 2 to relief society and he started farting, not quietly, then he pooped, so I went to change him. He had already spit up a lot and he was a little damp, so I decided to change his clothes. I got him undressed down to a onesie, then I started th change the diaper and was cleaning him up and he peed again all over himself, luckily none on me. Then I had to change the onesie too. What is it with church?? This is why thing 1 is in a dress and thing 2 has on a different outfit.

3 Months

The past month we have had more smiles and cooing, it just seems to get more rewarding. Thing 1 has graduated to wearing size 1 diapers and 0 to 3 month clothes, rather than newborn. Thing 2 is getting bigger as well, but hasn't quite made it to the bigger size. December 1st was the 3 month mark. We took pictures even though we had to treat for thrush and their mouths are purple.

Bathtime Fun

One of our favorite things to do is bath time. Thing 2 loves the bath and has just stopped screaming when I get him out of the tub. He loves the sound of the water. After our 2 month shots he screamed for 2 hours straight and just stopped when I put him in the warm bath. Thing 1 also enjoys relaxing in the tub. She always grins when I wrap her up in a towel.

We spent the weekend in Burley with all of Jake's family. We had an early Thanksgiving and had a fun time. This was the first overnight trip with Thing 1 and Thing 2, it went pretty well.

November 2009

Two Months old. We are starting to have a few smiles and some more personality. Thing 1 seemed to smile and interact a little bit faster than thing 2, but he is right behind with some smiles and a lot of personality. He also seems to hold his head up a little bit better than thing 1, but she is also improving at that.

October 2009

One month old on October 1st. We blessed them on October 11th. To round out the month we had a happy Halloween. Halloween was fun, we only had 2 sets of trick-or-treaters because of truck-or-treat. The lady bug is my niece.

September 2009

The Twins arrived on September 1st 2009. We stayed in the hospital with Thing 1 until the 13th and Thing 2 stayed until the 17th, it was a long few weeks. Thing 1 weighed 4 lbs 13 ounces and Thing 2 weighed in at 5 lbs 2 ounces. Mom had to undergo a cesarean delivery because Thing 2 was breach.
