Park City

How is it possible that the little monster slept better every night of the trip than he does at home? I’m tempted to set up the pack and play and try to recreate the environment he slept in in Park City. Maybe he needs to hear his dad and brother snore?

We had a fun trip and were all exhausted each night. Our kids went to bed earlier than the other kids each night and barely complained. They even had naps in the car while we were traveling from place to place and still went to bed by about 8.

I’m just going to post a few pictures I will have to post more about the trip later. I’m still tired and working the past two days didn’t help.

Here are a few pictures from our trip to the park on Sunday. There are so many pictures I will have to make an album from each activity to show how much fun the Whipple’s can have.

11 months

This boy is growing up. He got his second haircut this week. He took his first step on May 18th. He loves to look at books and swing around a lawn bowling pin, he especially loves hitting dad with it. He loves the book Llama Llama Red Pajama. He loves dogs and other animals. He enjoys being outside and playing with his brother and sister. He liked to pull the light chain on the fan light in his room to turn on or off the light.

He is wearing 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. He has his two bottom front teeth. He enjoys eating almost anything we are eating as long as it is cut up small.

He says mama and dada and he signs more. He understands a lot of what we say and tries out new sounds and is getting close to words like dog, ball, and Thing 2.

I’m finally getting him to sleep pretty well through the night again (unfortunately we are going on a trip which will probably ruin it again).

Popsicles

The other day I went to my friend Kristen’s house she gave us popsicles and P stole mine after the first bite and took over. Jake gave popsicles to the kids the next day and he took over Jake’s too.

Easter Outfits

I finished the boys ties for Easter. It was only about a month late.

The Zoo

We went to the zoo for the first time this year. We had a fun time and it was cool enough that we saw a lot of animals out and active. We even saw the snow leopards.

I loved watching baby P look at the monkeys. Thing 1 still loves the pig. Thing 2 wanted to see horses.

Swinging

Today after going to the zoo we had a picnic at the park. This was a very cool swing. P loved swinging with me and Thing 1 and 2 shared it. Thing 2 wanted to get off so he got out and ran left instead of forward and got hit by the little girl on the other swing, It picked him up off the ground and flew forward. It was super scary and he cried for about 20 minutes afterward. Jake took us to get ice cream and he was happy after that.
