P’s Birthday Bash
We had a fun Winnie the Pooh birthday party for P. He loves our stuffed Winnie the Pooh and even sleeps with him sometimes, so the theme just fit. The twins were more excited about everything than he was. He is a little introverted and enjoys being around mom, dad, Grammy, and his siblings. Few other people make him truly happy unless they are giving him food.
He had fun opening gifts but with Thing 1 and 2 around plus cousins he didn’t do much of the opening. He got more than he needed and we appreciate the gifts he was given. He loves the balloons and had a blast eating his cake. Here are the shorter videos the first one was pretty long to upload.

Happy Birthday P
This sweet boy turned 1 today. Last year right now I was just meeting this sweet baby. I can’t believe how fast the last year went. He has learned so much and grown up to fast. I will post more pictures and more about his fun day another time. Just wanted to give you the highlights. We sure love this little guy.

Hiking
Friday night the kids were bored of being in the house and they convinced their Uncles/Dads to take them on a hike (I’m not sure how far they got with 4 three year olds). It was right across the road from the house and it was a beautiful area. Rachel, Bridgett, and I hiked up and ran back down the next morning. I sent my camera so I got some pictures of the hike.

Bridal Veil Falls
Memorial Day we drove up Provo Canyon to Bridal Veil Falls. Our car went to a different trail head than everyone else which caused some difficulty, we hiked up a walking path and got to a huge crowd of people looking at the falls. We decided to embark on the hike we intended to do after all the other Whipple’s had hiked up and back down. It was a short steep hike and Thing 1 and Thing 2 did amazingly well up to the middle of the waterfall. It was very pretty and I don’t have the picture at the top, hopefully Rachel will post it.
The walk back down the walking path to the car was difficult for both of them. I wish I had my camera out to take a picture I had Thing 2 on my shoulders and Jake put Thing 1 on top of his shoulders with P still in the pack.

Hogle Zoo
Saturday for the family reunion we went to the Hogle Zoo. It was extremely crowded. We loved the giraffes. The polar bear exhibit was amazing, she was so fun to watch swim right up to the glass. The elephants were pretty far away so not as fun as last time. The twins rode the carousel and P fell asleep. We will definitely go again but hopefully on a less busy day.
We went to lunch and then drove back to Park City. We had family pictures in the evening and then we cooked our dinner, it was yummy but a little later than we had planned because of the pictures.
