Christmas Eve was an exciting day around here. It was very hard to go to sleep. It didn’t help that we tried to have them all go to sleep in Porter’s room so they wouldn’t go into the living room without us. Santa set up candy canes on the door and left magic pennies. Maielle woke up a little while after he set this up and I told her to go back to sleep. She said, “I just don’t feel like sleeping anymore”. Luckily she went back to sleep and we all got up around 7 AM.
