We surprised the kids with a trip to Seattle. We went to visit my sister Victoria. We had a lot of fun. I will probably have a few (more than two less than seven) posts from the trip and a ton of pictures.
We were flying out of Boise so we told the kids we were taking a trip to Boise to see some family and going to dinner for my birthday.
We stopped at the outlet mall for some quick shopping. Maielle is growing out of all her clothes and Porter is catching up to his cousin to fast for us to get the hand-me-downs. Then we checked into the hotel and headed to dinner.
We went to Tucanos for my free birthday meal and invited Jake’s siblings and my friend Chrisanna. It was so fun to sit and chat with friends and catch up with family. The food was amazing and overall it was a great evening.
We got up in the morning had breakfast and road the shuttle bus to the airport. The kids were excited to ride on a bus and had no idea we were getting on an airplane. They also had fun riding the escalator while we waited for the plane.
The flight was fun, the kids were great. Maielle kept asking me when we were going to go fast. She really enjoyed landing and it was a little bumpy. Porter wanted his own seat with his own seatbelt (Mr. independent). I told him next time we go on a plane he will get his own seat and he said, “thanks mom”.
