We went to Boise for the baby blessing of Jake's sister Becky's baby. So these pictures are taken at her house. We had a fun time playing with cousins and seeing the new baby. We took family pictures with everyone and those should be coming soon (I hope). I'm sure they will turn out great.
At 11 months Thing 1 is getting her top teeth in, they haven't broken through. she is walking while holding onto things, and has probably taken a step before falling without holding on. She finally has enough hair for one or two little pigtails on top of her head. She also has learned a few little words. She says stinky, kick, duck, and ruff (when we ask her what the dog says). She learned to climb stairs at Jake's sister's house and did a great job.
Thing 2 has the bottom two and top two teeth in and just cut his 3rd bottom tooth in the last few days. He walks around holding onto the couches and chairs and can reach further than we want him to. He makes a "th" sound and a "ss" sound. He also says dadada a lot and when I yell for Jake he yells too and it sounds like he is yelling Jake. He climbed stairs for the first time at my brothers house and made it just 3 steps from the top before he got tired. Jake took a video of him climbing stairs at his sisters house and he climbed to the top a couple times. We haven't gotten the hang of going down yet.
They are growing so fast and doing a lot of fun things. Honestly this is one of my favorite stages that we have had. They have completely different personalities and it is fun to watch them develop and learn new things. Here are a few pictures and I will post the family pictures when I get them.

This is the day before taken at my nephew's wedding. My favorite people in their sunglasses, too cute.
They're getting cuter every day....is that even possible? Thanks for the help this morning, can't wait to see you in person!
ReplyDeleteCutie cuties! It only gets funner and funner until they hit about 5/6 years old. :o) That is about the age they really start sassing you and thinking "hey mom doesn't know what she's talkin about."
