Thing 1 and Thing 2 have been a part of our family for 2 years. It is amazing how fast time flies when you are having so much “fun”. We love these two little ones and are blessed to have them in our home. We had a fun birthday party with “stuffed animal” cupcakes (as requested by Thing 1). The kids got just what they wanted. Thing 1 said she was getting a “bike” and that Thing 2 was getting “bubbles”. To be fair we got each of them their own trike with a helmet.
Thing 2 giggled and said “hi” to his lion cupcake and then ate the ice cream, he ate a normal cupcake but didn’t touch the lion. Thing 1 started with the marshmallow ears on her bunny.
We had our two year well-check with the doctor. Here are their stats

They are both very good at talking. They say please and thank you without to much coaxing. They can sing a lot of the ABC’s, itsy bitsy spider, twinkle twinkle, baa baa black sheep, Mary had a little lamb, and more songs. They count to ten but skip six and nine. They know body parts (some a little to well). They remember names and who belongs with whom when talking about families. Thing 1 loves her new cousin “perke 2” and says his name over and over. She loves to touch his toes because that is the only part of him I let her touch because he is to little.
