We visited the Hogle Zoo in the morning before Tom’s flight arrived. In fact, we barely made it to the airport before he came down. His flight was 45 minutes early.
If you ask the kids what they saw at the zoo they will say “amnimals” and if you ask them what their favorite animal is they will tell you the elephants and that elephants say “ahh choo”.
It was a fun morning, minus the barfing in the car (Thing 1) right before Malad. We thought it might be motion sickness and got some Dramamine, which she spit out. That night Thing 2 barfed several times. Then the next day Jake came down with it. Then the next day Thing 1 had it really bad. I had gotten really sick the weekend before after going to the Eastern Idaho State Fair and I thought it was food poisoning (unfortunately it wasn’t).
Hopefully our next adventure won’t be quite so much of an adventure. We didn’t have any accidents during our driving to Salt Lake to Burley and home. Each child did have an accident at Grandma Whipple’s house because they were having to much fun.
